INTRA OPERATIVE NAVIGATIONAL GUIDELINES • CERVICAL AND THORACIC SPINE SURGERY: In the cervical and thoracic spine area could be used routinely in
cases of screw placement, at the discretion of the surgeon and availability
of equipment. In the lumbar area would be indicated in cases requiring screw placement,
where there has been significant distortion of anatomy, trauma, previous
major spinal surgery (especially fusion surgery),or in minimally invasive
screw placement surgery, and in such case it would be at the discretion
of the surgeon and availability of equipment. |
