1. COMPENSATION FROM ANY SOURCE IN EXCHANGE FOR
USING A PARTICULAR DEVICE IS UNETHICAL
2. FINANCIAL INTEREST IN ANY ASPECT OF CARE NEEDS TO
BE DISCLOSED
3. CONSULTING AGREEMENTS WITH INDUSTRY SHOULD
BE IN PLACE OUTLINING
3.1. Documentation of need
3.2. Proof of delivery of service
3.3. Reasonable remuneration
3.4. Remuneration not related generation of business
4. SUBSIDY FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
4.1. Is acceptable for tuition, travel and accommodation
4.2. No subsidy for accompanying party
4.3. Faculty members may receive reasonable honoraria & expense
reimbursement
4.4. Invitations to attend industry non-educational related events should
be approached with due caution.
